Hello! I am Bettina, a protestant sister in the Chemin Neuf community which lives and works for the unity of Christians. I love languages (trying to learn Dutch at the moment – I am German so that helps) and discovering new places and people. I am looking forward to the weekend in Oosterhout because it will be a great moment to meet lovely people and to go deeper in my relationship with God. Together with Gaëlle, I am preparing a teaching. So get ready for this weekend ! 😊🤩

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Gaëlle, 25 years old, originally from Lebanon but currently living in Belgium, where I’m doing my Master’s in Speech Therapy in Liège — and no, I don’t only play with kids all day 🙃. This year, I’m part of the Chemin Neuf youth mission here in Belgium, and what I’m most looking forward to is getting to know myself more through Christ, growing closer to Him, and helping others do the same through our youth weekends. Oh, and let’s be honest — who would say no to spending a weekend in the mesmerizing abbey of Oosterhout? 😍 I really hope you’ll give it a chance and come join us — we’re actually really cool people, and you’re guaranteed to have an amazing time 😉

What I look forward to the most in this youth weekend is meeting amazing people, spending a fun and resourcing time and getting closer to God through my service:) I can’t wait to see you there!

Sometimes life feels like a storm. It might seem like your life’s boat has hit rough waters. But Jesus calls us to step out and trust Him. With Him, we can see beyond fear and doubt. Not because we are so strong, but because He is strong in us. Together we choose hope, together we learn to walk on water with Him.🩵

Then come to the Youth Weekend “Walk on Water” from 7 till 9 November in Oosterhout. It will be a weekend filled with teachings, music, prayer, games and lots of beautiful people (with you there of course:)).

Soms voelt het leven als een storm. Het lijkt misschien alsof de boot van je leven in zwaar water terecht is gekomen. Maar Jezus roept ons om uit de boot te stappen en op Hem te vertrouwen. Met Hem kunnen we verder kijken dan angst en twijfel. Niet omdat wij sterk zijn, maar omdat Hij sterk is in ons. Samen kiezen we voor hoop, samen leren we met Hem op het water te lopen.
